How were Americans treated in Japan during WWII?

I know that during the war, Japanese Americans were placed in internment camps and seen as very untrustworthy people. But that's not what I'm asking - I was curious about the other side of the story. If the US was treating the Japanese poorly within the country, what were the Japanese doing to Americans in Japan, if anything?
